I am one of millions of mourners across America saddened by the passing of Justice Ginsburg, and we are resolute in our demand that Justice Ginsburg’s successor be someone who values working people’s lives and women’s equality, and is committed to building on her legacy of caring, equity, and respect.

I am calling you, my senator, and senators of all parties to reject Senate Majority Leader McConnell’s hypocritical tactics--attempting to push through the confirmation of a new justice so close to the election--and to demand the process be placed on hold until after the inauguration.

Thank you senator, I know you will do the right thing.
